The NAILS PRINT series is a collection of rings and earrings inspired by the action of a nail.
We chose to spotlight the earrings and rings in the series that were created using piercing, puncturing, and "wounding" the metal using a nail. Inspired by the action of this everyday object that leaves traces, holes, and marks, the rings and earrings in the collection underwent the same process. Through this, we left our personal handprint on them, where each ring and earring essentially documents the story of its making and the work method by which it was created.
The jewelry pieces are set with tiny diamonds that heal the nail's action and fill its traces with a delicate sparkle.
A decade has passed since we launched one of our most talked-about and fascinating collections - the "NAILS PRINT" collection. The collection, launched in Spring-Summer 2014, continues to resonate as a distinct example of converting everyday materials into wearable art. We took a basic, everyday element - the nail - and turned it into the hero of the design story. Each piece in the collection tells a story of transformation: how a simple, utilitarian object becomes a precious work of art.
What is typically hidden from view - the nail concealed behind hanging pictures, or the quiet hole it left in the wall - is a silent witness to life stories that occurred within the home's walls. In our collection, we transformed the nail from a hidden element into the central piece: it is what creates the special imprint in gold, makes room for a diamond's sparkle, and reshapes the precious metal with delicate protrusions. Thus, marks of the past become witnesses of the present.
We take elements from everyday life and reimagine them through jewelry design. What was once ordinary transforms into an artistic creation that accompanies its wearer, breathes with them, and gains new life as an integral part of their personal story.
